Mitt Romney’s Economic Claims vs. The Facts

I cannot believe we live in an era where our journalists (and I use that term VERY loosely) actually legitimize and take seriously people who believe that facts are optional. Romney should come right out and admit what he’s doing. He’d be taken far more seriously if he did. Of course, the people he works for would never let that happen. Quite frankly, he doesn’t have the stones to do it anyhow.

I swear, I hate knowing that everything (including the media’s role) is orchestrated. You also have to deconstruct it all by yourself. The U.S. media is obviously not going to help you. If today’s journalists can’t ask semi-tough questions, they are nothing but PR  for whomever they are covering.

My problem (like MANY of you) is that this whole thing is fake. From Romney actually trying to make people believe that he’s a “blue-collar/farmer/ordinary guy” to the lily-white crowd in attendance, the horribly written speech and, my favorite, “Barack Obama has failed America as a President.” Are you serious? That’s what you’re going with? Congrats on nailing down the 10% of people who would vote for you anyhow.
