I love that it took them three hours to create the website. I also love that it shows the increasing power of younger people. Mostly, though? I love that this site is exactly what Obama supporters and people on the fence need. When I stumbled upon this site about a week ago, I was hooked! It’s not so much the fact that Obama has done FAR more than the media or many in the government would lead you to believe. It was the way it’s presented: entertaining & informative.
My biggest beef with liberal and/or progressive pundits is that they tend to speak above the average person. Even as an educated man myself, I grow weary of all the catch phrases and academic/legal buzzwords constantly used. When you hear Republicans, Tea Partiers, righties, etc. gush over Limbaugh, Beck or Hannity, one of their most common compliments is to say that “they relate to the common person. You can tell by the way they speak.” While most of us know that Rush, Glenn and Sean haven’t the foggiest idea about what the common person is about, they sure as hell know how to talk to them and get their attention.
This website, in my opinion, has the perfect theme/tone/attitude to attract the average American. It’s called “playing ball.” Not acting like you’re above the game. Once us youngsters start getting organized & proactive, the right won’t know what hit it. This is just the beginning.WTF rules!
